LUPICIA Fresh Tea

Ever since I ordered my first batch of tea from here in 2021, I have literally never bought tea anywhere else. This place is it. Going into the store is a great experience - the owner is friendly, knowledgable and generous with his time, allowing you to smell each tea while you make your selections. He will also take the time to explain things to you and recommend teas according to your preferences. He taught me an extremely important lesson about maximising flavour extraction from tea leaves by brewing first in a jug/mug, then pouring it into your drinking cup through a fine double mesh sieve (which they also sell here). My tea has never tasted better. Online deliveries are super reliable as well and always arrive within a couple of days. I cannot recommend this place enough. Just the best tea shop I’ve ever been to, hands down.

Was lucky to be gifted some beautiful teaware and an assortment loose teas box for Christmas. Had never heard of the store until then. I am immediately converted. Yes, it is expensive, but beautiful things often are! It has only been a few weeks since Christmas but I have already placed an online order to restock and expand on my selection. The perfect tea to enjoy while I practice gratitude.

A very lovely tea shop! Has a great selection of tea that you can smell and choose from, and there is a minimum weight that you have to purchase for each tea. They also sell tea cups and tea pots, and packaged tea in lovely tins, which will be a perfect gift for tea lovers. Highly recommend that you visit this shop the next time you are in the city.

Best Tea Store in the town. My favorite tea and tea gift store where you could find lots of types of Tea from diffrent countries including Japan, China, India..... It's Melbourne local store for tea-lovers and travellers visiting CBD. Love the gift wraping as extra Service. I believe my Adelaide friend would love her birthday gift. Thank you!!! 😀👍👍👍

My experience at this shop was absolutely terrible. I with my family walked in to the tea house, i was explaining the difference between each type of tea to my kid, and my kid was also interested in it, so he had his hand on one of the display tea box, suddenly there is an old woman walked to my kid and told my kid to DO NOT TOUCH anything. There is No signage on the table saying no touching and there are three more customers in the shop, she only said this to my kid. My kid didn’t do anything wrong. This is ridiculous and super disappointing. After few minutes, i was talking to my husband, then, I heard this old woman said “no touching”again, I turned my head to my kid, my kid was just using his finger pointing the box that we bought last time. So why don’t you put NO KIDS ALLOWED in front of your shop ??? Kid also need to be treated with respect. No one wants to be treated like second-class citizen. It's definitely unacceptable. I will certainly not be returning. After I reviewed online there are many customers had a terrible experience with this old woman. I wonder why she is still working here? If this old woman is the owner, This shop is hopeless. I don’t even want to give 1 star.
